Terms and Conditions
In order to avoid any misunderstandings regarding bookings the following are our Terms and Conditions to which all bookings are subject. Written, Emailed or Telephone confirmation of the booking from the client implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. In these Terms and Conditions the expression “Client” means the person, firm or company making the booking.
Confirmation
Any provisional telephone requests for training or orders must be confirmed on our booking form by E Mail Post or Fax within seven days of first contact. However, as above, such telephone bookings will be considered as confirmed unless specifically cancelled by Email or Fax within 7 days of the original booking.
Payments
An invoice will be issued, and the total is to be paid within 30 days from the date of the invoice or before the course start date, whichever is soonest unless a prior agreement has been made with Pisces Training.
We reserve the right not to carry out training where the invoice has not been settled before the course begins.
We reserve the right (under Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act, 1988) to charge the customer on any overdue amount at the rate of 8% per month, compounding monthly.
In the event of fewer students attending a course than had been booked, the client will still be charged for the class size rate they originally requested (unless previously agreed in writing).
CERTIFICATES WILL NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL INVOICES ARE PAID.
We accept the following payment methods
By Post
Make your cheque payable to Pisces Training, cross it A/C Payee only and write your invoice number on the back. Post payment to: Pisces Training The Business Place Armstrong Hall Brougham Avenue Mansfield Notts NG19 7LA.
We do not accept post dated cheques.
By BACS

On Site Training
Access to suitable parking at the venue will be needed for the instructor. If this is not available we need to be informed at least seven days prior to the start date, as it will affect the amount of equipment the instructor can bring.
If parking meters or paying car parks need to be utilised the client will need to provide payment at the time.
The instructor will provide all equipment they need to teach the course, unless otherwise agreed or venue parking cannot be allocated.
The training/assessment venue must be suitable for the purpose (i.e. – no interruptions, appropriate environment, sufficient space etc.).
Our instructors are under instruction to terminate training where they believe their personal safety or health & safety may be at risk.
We always prosecute persons who threaten or assault our staff.
Mileage Charges
There is no charge for the first fifty miles after that a mileage rate of 30p per mile will be charged using Microsoft AutoRoute to work out the mileage.
Cancellations & Amendments
ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE IN WRITING.
If the client cancels a course or a place on an open course, they will be liable to a cancellations fee.
This is charged on the following sliding scale:
25% of invoice total if cancelled within three weeks of start date (21 days), including Weekends.
50% of invoice total if cancelled within two weeks of start date (14 days), including Weekends.
100% of invoice total if cancelled within one week of start date (7 days), including Weekends.
Companies / Individuals who fail to cancel within this time will be liable for full payment of all fees due without exception.
Pisces Training will also require full payment of all course fees due without exception for individuals that are absent without notice from any course.
If we have to cancel a course we will give as much notice to the client as possible. Clients will be offered an alternative mutually agreeable date for training in the first instance. If no agreement can be reached Pisces Training will issue a refund to the client.
We retain the right to alter, amend, change or adjust any course profile as is deemed appropriate without notice.
