This course covers the syllabus as set out in the Health and Safety Approved code of practice. This course entails the taking and passing of a practical exam on the final afternoon. Passing the exam entitles the holder of the certificate to be registered as a First Aider. The certificate is currently valid for three years. The HSE ‘highly recommended‘ that all first aiders also attend a yearly refresher course. Courts may take a dim view to anyone ignoring the HSE recommendation.
Emergency First Aid at Work – EFAW
This course is a new 6 hour HSE recognised course. This course entitles the holder of the certificate to be called a First Aider. The course has been designed to equip the Emergency First Aider with the skills necessary to take charge and deal with an emergency effectively. The certificate is currently valid for three years. The HSE ‘highly recommended‘ that all first aiders also attend a yearly refresher course. Courts may take a dim view to anyone ignoring the HSE recommendation.
Training runs over 2 days. We can accommodate up to 12 delegates on each course any more than 12 is classed as two courses running together and would need two trainers and would be charged as such. Each delegate receives an A4 certificate valid for 3 years, and a Paediatric first aid manual.
Automated External Defibrillation Course

The AED course is an Onsite and Open Access Course, lasts for approx 4-5 hours and covers a range of content that would leave you qualified to use the AED in case of an emergency. You receive a certificate on completion of the course that lasts for 1 year.

HABC Level 3 National Award in Delivering Training

This qualification is aimed at those who want to develop practical training skills and is the minimum requirement for anyone wishing to register to deliver HABC qualifications* in food safety, health and safety and environmental protection without public funding – for example, in the workplace.
We also offer a range of courses to train you in every aspect of Health and Safety. We offer the Level 2 Award in H&S in the workplace, Principles of Manual Handling Course and the Principles of COSHH Course. All courses are customisable to suit every person or companies needs.
